Workplace and personal wellbeing have received a lot of attention in the last couple of years as veterinary-specific statistics around burn out and compassion fatigue are revealed. So what do we do about it? There are lectures, webinars, online courses, and employee assistance programs...just to mention a few. Another tool to promote professional and personal wellbeing is coaching. You are probably picturing someone on the sidelines with a clipboard and a whistle, but we are talking a different kind of coach! The International Coaching Federation, the world's largest credentialing entity of coaches, defines coaching as a "thought-provoking and creative partnership that inspires clients to maximize their personal and professional potential, often unlocking previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership".

Coaching is a relationship that has the potential to elevate your career to the next level, help with interpersonal communications, and give you a few new tools to allow for less stress and anxiety in your life. With coaching, you determine your path and your coach helps you along the way.

As part of our member wellbeing program, CACVT is proud to offer CVT members an affordable coaching program with three coaches who have a deep understanding of the veterinary field. Learn more about coaching, meet our coaches, and get the details about CACVT's coaching program at our wellbeing program launch event on December 8th from 7-8pm.

Join Kristina Guldbrand (CVT, BS, CSP, ACC), Leann Benedetti (DVM, ACC, CCFP, BSc), and Peg Thoren (M.Ed., BCC) to learn more about what coaching is, what coaching isn't, and how it can help you achieve your goals. A brief presentation will be followed with a Q&A session.

This meeting is an informational session and not eligible for CE credit.
