Certification renewal requirements include:

  • Submission of 20 hours of continuing education in your CE log* (Have questions? Click Here for answers to frequently asked questions)

  • Complete the 2022-2024 Certification Renewal Application. Click here to complete the form. (If your certification lapsed prior to 6/30/2022 please click here)
  • Certification dues submitted with application ($152) via credit card.
*If you were certified mid-cycle of the 2020-2022 cycle, you may not be required to submit 20 hours CE at renewal.

About the process:

  • All CE needs to be entered into your CE log in your Member Profile prior to submitting the application for renewal.
  • Once you fill out and submit your 2022-2024 renewal application, you will receive an application summary via email within 5 minutes of submission. If you are having trouble finding the email, you may also not see other communications from CACVT such as communications about your certification.  Make sure [email protected] is on your "safe senders list" in your email.   • Each Certification Renewal Application must go through CE review (unless your CE was pre-approved) to ensure the continuing education requirements were met; this process can take up to 6 weeks. If your CE submission has any irregularities or your CE reviewer has any questions, we will contact you via email for further clarification.
  • Certification cards will be mailed by request in September 2022. You can also access your certification card from within your member profile by clicking here.
