Are you a representative, such as a hospital manager, that would like to pay 2024-2026 renewal fees for one or more veterinary technicians?

All prepayments for the 2024-2026 renewal ($150/individual) are due by 6/1/24.

*Please read all the following information before submitting your prepayment form. Prepayments are for facility representatives that would like to pay the credentialing fees for their technicians directly to CACVT, eliminating the financial responsibility of their employee.*

Steps to take before submitting your form:

Create a list of your technicians. An Excel document is preferred with their first name in the first column and their last name in the second column. You will upload this information into the prepayment form.
Manually verify the eligibility of the applicant on your list for 2024-2026 renewal. You can check eligibility using our certification directory. Search using the technician's name and make sure the expiration date reads 6/30/24. If you cannot find the name or the expiration date is a different date, they are not eligible for prepayment.
Have a credit card available to make your payment when submitting the form. The 2-year credentialing fee is $150 per technician.
Starting in July 2024, CACVT membership is optional (membership is different from credentialing). If you would like to include the cost of a 1-year professional membership ($35) for your employees, you can add it on to the form. To review the information about membership, click here.

What to expect after submitting your form and how your employees will receive their prepayment:

Expect to receive an email within 5 days of submission with a discount code and instructions for use. It is your responsibility to distribute this discount code to your employees to use at checkout when submitting their renewal application.
If you do not receive an email or a copy of your invoice (possibly went to Junk/Spam), you can review your communications and download your invoices using the following steps:

Go to CACVT.org, and log into your profile (in the upper right-hand corner) using the credentials you used when submitting the form.
Under your name tag, click "my profile"
Click "Email History" to see any sent communications.

Your employee will still need to submit the required CE hours and complete the renewal application. They will need to enter the discount code at checkout to reduce the fee to $0.
There is a manual review process of all applications. Once an application is approved, the technician's credential expiration date in the directory will be updated to 6/30/2024.
Please note, there will be no refunds for prepayment of the credentialing fee. This includes if a prepaid employee leaves your establishment, fails to submit a renewal application, fails to resubmit a denied application, or is not eligible.
